PFA, THE FOOTBALL ACADEMY THAT OPENS THE FIELD TO EVERYONE
An Inclusive Philosophy
With a clear objective: to offer every child, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, an equal chance to pursue their passion for football and train in optimal conditions.
At PFA, sport is much more than just a game. It is a vehicle for values, a means of empowerment, and personal development. The academy has distinguished itself by offering high-quality camps and training programs while adjusting its fees to be accessible to all families, particularly those facing economic challenges.
We firmly believe that sport is a right for all children, regardless of their situation. This is why we strive to adapt our programs and allow each of our young participants to excel on the field while developing essential values such as respect, effort, and team spirit.

A Strong Commitment to Youth
PFA has built strong ties with several communities, and Trappes, a city known for its dynamism and diversity, is a striking example. The youth of Trappes, sometimes facing socio-economic challenges, find in the academy a place where they can develop, grow, and most importantly, dream of a promising future in football.
Thanks to an adapted pricing policy, children from low-income families can participate in the camps, benefit from quality training, and measure up to the standards of major clubs. PFA aims to create an ecosystem where every talent, whether already visible or emerging, has the opportunity to thrive and build a future.
mara Kante
The football star shattered by a judicial error but shining brightly for our youth
Mara Kanté, a well-known name in the football world, had everything to become one of the rising stars of the sport. Talented, determined, and with a strong mindset, he was destined for a brilliant future on the field. However, a judicial error shattered his career, plunging him from his dream into the harsh reality of life.
A Promising Career Cut Short Too Soon
Mara Kanté’s story is that of a man whose fate was turned upside down overnight. In 2017, as he was preparing to take a new step in his sports career, Mara was wrongfully accused and imprisoned for two and a half years. This unjust incarceration, detailed in a poignant interview with Konbini, highlights the flaws of a judicial system that made Amara a victim.
During his time in prison, Mara had to draw on his mental strength. Despite the anger and confusion, he refused to give in to despair. This painful experience certainly kept him away from the football fields, but he managed to learn essential lessons about resilience and the importance of holding on to hope, even when everything seems lost.
Today, Mara Kanté is a free man, but the scar of those lost years remains fresh. Rather than dwelling on his misfortune, he has decided to look to the future and share his experience with the younger generation. A man of character, he spoke to our young trainees about sports, the importance of pushing one’s limits, and the fundamental role of mindset in success.
A Mission: Inspiring Youth to Persevere
During his meetings with our youth, Mara emphasizes that football is not just a game but a true lesson in life. He explains how sport can be both a refuge and a school of perseverance. However, he doesn’t hide the fact that the journey is tough: “Nothing is easy,” he often says. “To succeed, you need determination, respect for your teammates, your opponents, and most importantly, for yourself.”
His words have a powerful impact. The young people listen with admiration to this man who has known glory, faced downfall, and who today, despite everything, rises again with dignity. Mara Kanté shows them that it is possible to overcome the most unjust challenges and find the path back to light. His presence and commitment alongside our academy are invaluable. Through his example, he inspires our youth to believe in themselves, never give up, and always strive for excellence, both on the field and in life.
